We are going wild at work in June – joining forces with the Yorkshire Wild Life Trusts annual #30dayswild campaign.
It is so easy to get caught up in the day to day routine and miss out on the benefits of the great outdoors, particularly the benefits nature can bring to improving your mental health.
As we know, buying a house is one of the most stressful things you can do in your life. According to research from ‘Aldemore’ in 2018, more than half of first-time buyers were made ill by the stress of home buying.
So, with this in mind, we will be encouraging our customers and ourselves to explore our local wildlife spaces to help with the advantages highlighted by The Wildlife Trusts ‘Nature and Mental Health’ infographic.
We will obviously continue to do our bit to help remove many of the stresses associated with getting a new mortgage or arranging additional borrowing by searching the whole market on our client’s behalf.
We look forward to sharing our Random Acts of Wildness during June, whilst also highlighting several decisions we have made as a business to help reduce our impact on the environment, such as upgrading our promotional pens to a biodegradable product from Really Good Branding.
“At the core of our business, is a sense of responsibility to our customers and our surroundings. Not just with our products and services, but with the decisions we make and how they affect our wellbeing and the future of our planet.
Being part of the Yorkshire Wild Life Trust #30DaysWild Campaign is a great way to encourage us to appreciate our environment.”

Our recent move to ‘the healthiest office in the UK’ – sustainability focussed Kirkstall Forge has also helped inspire our team to engage with nature at work and at home.
